The reason I say top two is that every two weeks we were either number one squad, or number two behind "RS Federation" who must have had 130 players. They only had like 12 players on the squad, I believe I was 13. Second Rivalry: a few years later I had become a pretty elite player in Subspace and wouldn't join squads for a couple years until I found MADROX who ran an extremely small but consistently top two squad globally named "MADROXIDE". If you're out there Golden Chalice, I remember you from 25 years ago. The game changed a lot over the next few years and I never saw him after that. I would chase him around for practice and he would just melt me. There was a dude named "Golden_Chalice" that was constantly the wasp. It made you a target for sure, everyone knew you were the best. Seeing it kind of hit close to home and gave me some bizarre nostalgia.įirst rivalry: In the early days of Subspace, specifically in Chaos zone, whoever had the highest score during a two week game would get to fly a one of a kind ship called "The Wasp". He spent over 850 hours in Bad Company 1. I hope I can face him again sometime.Įdit: wow I looked him up and am pretty baffled to see his lifetime stats. However it’s quite nice knowing that I’ve had someone I played with for years based off of pure chance. Then soon enough I moved away from Battlefield Bad Company. We were both on fire and it was really fun being able to be on his team. We had some legendary battles and encounters seemingly every day for the better part of a year, never being on the same team. However this one player was always on the other team, and he and I would duke it out for first place every single match. I played with many of the same players over and over again. My parents wouldn’t let me own any M games at the time so I played Battlefield Bad Company for my online fix. It was something like 8 years ago on the 360. Always had the upper hand on me because I would be right out of a fight or he had an ally. ![]() ![]() But I was terrible at it and didn't find it fun so I eventually quit doing that.įuck that rogue, he could never fight fair. I eventually ran into him in arenas also, when my friends dragged me into there to pvp, I was full shadow priest at this point. But for 2 or 3 weeks this was an everyday thing, sometimes more than once at different times of the day. We stopped running into each other all the time after that because, as I said, he had leveled past me and was likely on to new areas. He had to call his level 60 friends to come stop me. Then one day I decided to just start camping his corpse and wouldn't let him do anything. Even though he leveled past me I eventually got the upper hand in some fights and started winning. But he kept going after me for some easy kills and would camp me.Įventually I respecced to get some dps traits in there and got lots of practice fighting with him constantly attacking me. For a while I just left him alone because I was geared towards healing, doing lots of dungeons and stuff with other people who played the same times I did. I was a human priest and I kept running into the same undead rogue. I played wow for a very short time right before and during BC. Really struck me deep about treating people with respect and I wish I could have gone back and changed that because she was a good team mate. When they added the game to backwards compatible on Xbox one I was playing again and I thought about that guy again after years.Īlso there was a really nice girl I played with the very very early days of left 4 dead and she was super sweet and funny and I don't remember what I said but it was some edgy 15 year old humor and she unfriended me. He accepted and we won pretty much every game we played together but at that point the game on Xbox 360 was pretty much dead and only a handful of people were playing. After literally years of playing against each other and having what I felt was mutual respect for each other, it finally dawned on me to friend request him. He would have the most insane angle when he was playing as the smoker, and be able to instakill people. I was like 16 and played hours everyday so I was pretty good too. He would absolutely dominate every lobby he was in. ![]() Back when I played left 4 dead on Xbox there was this one guy named primetime1982 (I think it was 82)
